Key stage 2 performance for 2024-25
Each year, in line with the DfE publication timetable, we share our most recent Key Stage 2 performance measures showing how many of our pupils reach the expected standard in reading, writing and maths.
Pupils meeting expected standard in reading, writing and maths
The percentage of pupils achieving the expected standard (a scaled score of 100) in their reading and maths tests, and their teacher-assessed standard of writing.
In 2024-25, 69% of pupils achieved the expected standard in their reading, writing and maths compared with 70% nationally.
Pupils achieving at a higher standard in reading, writing and maths
The percentage of pupils achieving at a higher standard (a scaled score of 110+) in their reading and maths tests, and their teacher-assessed standard of writing.
In 2024-25, 9% of pupils achieved at a higher standard in reading, writing and maths compared with 8% nationally.
Average score in reading
This score shows how well pupils performed in the key stage 2 reading test. This score is known as the reading ‘scaled score’, where 80 is the lowest, 100 is expected and 120 is highest.
In 2024-25, the average reading score of our pupils was 106, compared with 106 nationally.
Average score in maths
